2010 DOT Supervisor Training

Who is this class for:
This class is designed to meet the DOT supervisor training requirements for individuals who supervise employees with a CDL license and who are responsible for identifying behavior associated with drug and alcohol use. Employers are required to have a sufficient number of supervisors trained to meet this mandatory DOT requirement. It is highly recommended that this training be provided to those who supervise drivers and have direct contact with the drivers on a daily basis. This training is a "one" time only requirement but periodic updates are highly recommended.

2010 Non DOT Supervisor Training
Who is this class for:
Whether you are a client regulated by DOT rules or not, the need to have well trained individuals with knowledge of the signs and symptoms of drug and alcohol use exists. This class resembles the DOT Supervisor Training and provides attendees with the tools they need to assist them in identifying behavior associated with drug and alcohol use in the workplace. This is an excellent learning opportunity for managers and leaders in your organization.

Designated Employer Representative (DER) Training
Who is this class for:
This class is designed for those individuals (DERs) who are responsible for the administration of their company's DOT drug and alcohol testing program. This training is specific to FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration). It is designed primarily for those DERs who are new program administrators and/or those that still do not feel adequate in their knowledge of their responsibilities. It will provide information and guidance on how to set-up and manage your program from beginning to end and help ensure DOT compliance. The class is designed to coordinate with the DOT Record Notebook available through Midwest Toxicology.

Understanding or developing your policy
Random testing explanation & rules
Test results & confidentiality
Problem situations – what actions to take
MIS annual reports
Overview of 49 CFR Part 40 & mode rules
